Thought of the Day

I don't believe in morality, but I believe in ethical conduct as set out by His Holiness the Dalai Lama: "Ethical conduct = a way of behaving that respects others’ right to be happy".

recap and goodbyes

... i went to the cowboy party in the end. i was also kinda dressed up with a hippy style blouse, denim skirt, cowboy boots and scarf... no hat or guns though. not only i made to the party but i also stayed up until 5am. after the pub closed in fact we went on to another bar and then wingnunt, a drunken richard, dan and francesco came back to our place and we stayed up chatting, eating, drinking and laughing. last weekend i watched two films: my best friend at the gate cinema and the last king of scotland at home. on saturday, after being more or less stitched up by all my friends for more or less dubious reasons, steve and i decided to try the new noodle place and then we rented a film out. sunday i went to yoga with vale & maga. it was good and we decided to make it a regular appointment. this week has been hectic: washing machines, dry cleaner, shoe repair, work, work, work, iron, pack, book, pay bills, arrange meeting with bea in madison, etc. it is nearly all done. i look forward to sitting back and enjoying my first flight over the atlantic. instead of writing a blog, i'll spend the next three weeks filling a paper travel jorunal... so, goodbye all, for now. will get back in touch soon...
