Thought of the Day

I don't believe in morality, but I believe in ethical conduct as set out by His Holiness the Dalai Lama: "Ethical conduct = a way of behaving that respects others’ right to be happy".

past weekend and week to come

it is good to have pesceterians around every now and then as it is the best excuse to stock up your body with omega 3. we ate fish three days in a row. on thursday we had sushi - unfortunately the sushi restaurant i had in mind was full, so we opted for a rather mediocre sushi chain with a grumpy waitress, who, according to my friend was chinese and pretended to be japanese. on friday we stayed in. fede and maga came around for dinner, and loftino cooked prawns in pink sauce and grilled salmon fillets. on saturday he prepared a monk fish salad cooked in lime and dressed with coriander. delicious. it provided us with the right energies to face a night out for vale's birthday. it was fun and there were really loads of people.

now i need to plan my two and a half hectic days in brussels. i have a conference, two meetings and a dinner, but in the spare time i want to visit the museum of musical instruments, tin tin boutique, marché du châtelain, maison autrique, ixelles art collection, a fancy dress shop selling masks and martin margiela boutique - only to admire their unlabelled clothes. i will not manage to see everything but this is not a problem since i will have more occasions to go back for pleasure or duty.
