i was waiting juliette and *twirly*'s photo to introduce you my last creation, but since her camera is kaput, i cannot wait any longer to show you my last work: a hat with a silly pom pom which i knitted for her fifth birthday. the pom pom is so big that it was hard to fit it in the photo, and the hat definitely too small for a thirty-something head.

i really like this iced-blue colour, and the yarn is 100 per cent merino wool. it took me a whole evening to complete it and i even managed to seam it by myself. incidentally, the butterfly i have had for so long perfectly suited the style and colour of the hat, so i attached it to it to give it a cute touch, which inspired juliette to name it *twirly* as she was spinning the hat around and twirling the pom pom.

as well as hats, i knitted two chunky scarfs and i am working on mittents... but i got stuck at a passage and need to ask the kind lady of liberty, always willing to help out.
